Thanks Justy. Don't know if it is normal for fuchsias to lose leaves, as mine have done, but the parent plant always did as new ones grew. The plants are tall & spindly & haven't trailed as the parent plant did. Haven't felt up to getting new cuttings off these cuttings, lately, but must do so very soon as the available cutting material is getting less & less. The poor parent plant has carked it, sooooooo, if I want to have more of these pretty miniature fuchsias I shall have to plant some more cuttings REAL SOON!!
The fuchsia cuttings continue to grow flower buds but many of them drop, just as they did on the parent plant. Must really & truly take some cuttings from them before it is too late.
A couple of images of the pretty little flowers on the fuchsia cuttings. They continue to flower but are looking very scraggly. Today I must take some cuttings from them as the parent plant has died.
The initial fuchsia cuttings are still flowering very well, despite its stems growing long & spindly. It is great that this lovely fuchsia can be kept thriving by the use of cuttings which are so simple to do.
