The weather for the past week has been absolutely fantastic, even the though the nightly clear skies & cool westerly breezes have made for some slightly chilly temps.

Here are some more images taken, around our town, on another such beautiful morning.

Goanna Headland & Halftide Rock. There is a white spot just below the horizon. That is a spout from a humpback whale which is travelling north to the Great Barrier Reef for the winter.

Evans Head & Snapper Rock. The small white blob on Snapper Rock is an enthusiastic fisherman. You would have to be enthusiastic to go to such lengths to try & catch a fish.

Ahem, I do not think this couple sitting, & drinking their coffee, at the side of the river (the tide was out) are talking, to one another, at the moment.

The Evans Head boat harbour is in the background. The vessels, with the nets hoisted up, are prawn trawlers who work out to sea.

The river is tidal which is why there are some mangroves growing on the shore.

The leader. They all, eventually, arrived safely at the other side of the river.
