Looking down on the terrace from the restaurant and shop steps, at the Twelve Apostles, which are 12 peaks on the back side of the western edge of Table mountain. The 12 A 's overlook Camp's Bay where all the tourists migrate to once they are here and all the yuppies live there :)

The rocks on top have all sorts of lichen and moss all over them. The Cable car controller said that the mist and cloud on the mountain provide more moisture for the mountain than the rain does!.

This one shows a better idea of the size of things the last image was zoomed in. From the right Devils Peak , then Maclears Beacon and the lookout with the people.

One of the many Red Winged Starlings that nest on the cliffs but feed down in the city gardens. They are very bold and amusing.

This one was very comical as he danced and posed and cocked his head from side to side as if listening to us talking, he put on quite a show for us. Of course.. with one eye on all the crumbs and pieces of food people had left lying around the table.

At this point we left, but the cloud was not any where near the front edge as it was still working it's way over from the Kirstenbosch side, but after a half an hour which is what it took to queue and get down again it had completely cover the whole top
