Think I should start a new topic for our summer flowers. It will be mostly roses & mandevillas at the moment. The pretty crossandra has flowers but they seem to have been chewed by some pest & don't look as pretty as usual. Maybe the curcumas will start flowering soon.

Here is a an image, taken yesterday, of one of the "Plum & Dandy" mandevilla flowers. Love their glowing yellow throat.

The dracaena surculosa punctulata "Sierra Leone" has flowered for the second time this year. Something that has never happened before.

This is one of last night's flowers. The perfume was glorious.

They are a wonderful, & most unusual, flower, Dawn. I fell in love with them the first time it flowered, with just one flower. The perfume was simply gorgeous.

It is, Dawn. :D It is a lovely soft pale green which doesn't seem to show so well in close ups. The colour is more evident in the pic of the whole plant in the Orchid forum.

It is a shame the colour is so elusive in close ups as it is quite attractive. There is now a third flower which is still opening with another bud still developing.

Yes it is, Dawn. Shall have to take some pics of the new flower but it is damp & dismal so the light isn't the best.

It is a great flower to take pics of, Dawn, especially when using our TV as the background. :lol2: Makes it stand out more, but it does take a bit of acrobatics to get it just so, though. :dance018:

The large floor-to-ceiling windows to the front patio give the right amount of light, too. Very fortuitous, really. :cool4:

The Chameleon miniature roses are reblooming in clusters, again. This is the third lot of flowers this season. The ants are rather partial to this one as well.

They are after its sweetness. :lol2: After the good work the ants did with cleaning out all the damp rot, from the adenium obesum, they can have anything they like from my plants. The only thing I shall draw the line at, Dawn, is their farming of scale insects on any of my plants. So far, so good. :cool4:
