The Fiesta miniature roses look a little washed out in this image. It was taken early in the morning, before the sun was over our horizon which is the fence. :lol2:

The older Fiesta miniature rose flowers are much paler. Shame they fade so much.

Cannot believe just how many flowers there are in some of these clusters. There are 12 flowers on this one stem.

There are, also, 12 Chameleon miniature rose flowers & buds on this one stem. It doesn't look as many as there are at least six buds.

I tried to grown the miniature roses with not much luck. Perhaps I will learn something here that will help me. I think the biggest mistake was I planted them in the ground instead of in a container.

Here in the US we are into our colder climates. I will have to wait until about April before I can plant outside again.

We are very lucky with our climate, where we live, Glad as we do not even have frost let alone snow. Our very rare worst minimum temp, at night, in the middle of winter would be 46/50F so my roses stay outdoors all year round. We are in spring right now.

Do believe you would, most likely, have luck with miniatures if they are in a pot. They can go indoors for the winter. Mine have been unbelievably hardy & have bounced back after each little setback. It has been a major learning curve.

Yesterday's image of the Chameleon miniature roses. Some of the flowers in the cluster are starting to fade. :( When they have finished I shall cut the stems off &, hopefully, there will be more coming along. These plants usually do flower over & over.

he Chameleon miniature rose is still flowering but not with the abundance of flowers it has during the slightly cooler times. It is very wet & warm at the moment.

This image shows the differing shades of the Chameleon roses in their various stages of development.

The Chameleon miniature rose definitely slows down over the hotter summer months but there are still some of its beautiful flowers. The pic from today has some ants in the flower which show as small black specks in amongst the petals. :lol2:

Here are a couple of images of the miniature Fiesta roses. This rose does need repotting & some more pruning. Must get around to it real soon.

A small cluster of Chameleon roses. There aren't that many of these clusters at the moment but that should improve when the weather starts to get cooler.

This image of a Fiesta miniature rose is closer to its true colour. It is definitely a difficult colour to capture with a camera, but the right time & the right amount of shade seem to come together sometimes & produce a fairly accurate result.

Noticed this rather tiny miniature "Fiesta" rosebud this morning. It is 1.25cm (or 1/2in) from the tip of its petals to the flowerstem. This about half the size of the usual flowers on these miniature roses. :cool3:

Our miniature Fiesta roses have burst forth in bloom. :bravo: There is only two plants here so they are doing well. :cool3: The autumn heat & humidity hasn't worried them, it seems.
