Gosh I am remiss. I haven't posted the pic of the sole Brazilian Walking iris seed pod we have had. After all the flowers during the past three seasons & we finally have had one seed pod.

    Here it is.

Actually came here to post about the fact that the seed pod had burst open & there were 18 & 1/2 seeds!!!!! :apgw: Thought the seed pod was dying because some funny dark markings had appeared on it then the pod suddenly drooped its head. Thought uh oh, it is rotting, but oh no, it was getting ready to drop its seeds!!!!! :excited:   Found it split into three segments yesterday evening, with many of the seeds at the bottom of the glass in the water!!! :dance2:

Here are the seeds!! The two on their own at the top were the two that were still in the pod. They are quite large, hard seeds. Shall have to research how & when to plant them. Or just do what nature would & plonk them into some soil. :cool4:

Here is the image of the plants though the smallest is behind the largest in this pic. They are still attached to the stem & will remain so until I can get some potting mix & a pot. :D

The largest one is 55cms (22ins) tall & the second one is 33 cms (13.2ins).

The plants are just lying on their siblings. :lol2:

Now we have four less pots of Brazilian Walking irises - neomarica bicolour gracilis (soft leaf var) - I was able to move the two remaining pots from the front patio to the back patio. Here they are all together.

    The top half.
