Yesterday's image of one of the two lilac/pink "White Fantasy" zygo flowers that have started to open on the, formerly dying of brown rot, plant which is now showing signs of making a wonderful recovery. :apgch:

It is good news. Even the ones that are still all shrivelled up have buds getting ready to open. Hope they make it. :bravo:

These three "White Fantasy" flowers are now shrivelled but they sure were really pretty when they were in their full glory.

Here is one for Dawn. The "Strawberry Fantasy" zygo is now busily flowering. I thought it wasn't going to happen.

The "Strawberry Fantasy" flower that looked so wonderful in the glow of the sun still looks good a week later.

The "White Fantasy" zygoes, in this pot, have all but finished but the "Sterling" zygoes are glowingly fluorescent.

They are proving to be very difficult to capture with a camera as they glow so much the camera is dazzled.

These are the last three flowers, I think, of this year's zygo flowering season. The "Strawberry Fantasy" were the last to start flowering which has helped us have a two month display of these lovely flowers. It has been wonderful. Coming up are the billbergia nutans "Queen's Tears" getting ready to flower & the Brazilian Walking irises starting to shoot up bud stems. :bravo: :excited:

The zygo has really finished now & the plants are looking a little sad.

There is one lonely Chameleon miniature rose at the moment. Last year there was a profusion of them. This one is covered with rain spatter.

What lovely and *so* unusual, flowers Joy! Those have stacks of pollen on them are you going to try and get some seed?

These plants send out many offshoots so I don't think I shall worry about seeds, Dawn. Have never had much luck with such things. Besides, again, there is that problem with space, or the lack thereof.

Am going to need bigger pots, though, to accommodate the offshoots. :lol2:

Will be very surprised if these plants set seeds as the flowers have now closed back up as if they are a bud again. It will be very interesting to see what happens as this is the first lot of flowers we have had from these plants.
