This flower is a mystery as it is on a stem of the "White Fantasy" plant on the back patio. A flower of the same colour appeared last season & was a real puzzle. This stem has grown & there are two flower buds ready to open, plus a couple of other buds, which will, hopefully, also open.

Here is the other bud, also close to opening. It is a pretty soft salmon shade.

Thanks Dawn. Did think that the "Strawberry Fantasy" zygo was not going to be as striking a red as it was last year because the smaller buds are pale. Just like the one at the top of that pic. I do fear, though, that there won't be as many flowers this year. :sad3:

Must put it into a different pot after they have finished flowering. The "White Fantasy" it is with at the moment, is much more vigorous. Might be taking up all the room.

The three colours in the one pot. The differently coloured mystery "White Fantasy" stem flowers are a deeper salmon pink this year.

The salmon pink mystery "White Fantasy" zygo aberrations have opened in this image. It was taken a few days ago as I have been rather tardy in my processing of these pics. :blush2:

The back patio zygoes are flowering madly. The "White Fantasy" zygoes have become a distinct shade of pink which is supposed to occur if the temps are cooler than normal, though the minimum temps aren't as cool as they were last year. They seem to be getting pinker each day & this image was taken yesterday.

Found another anomoly within the back patio "White Fantasy" zygo plant. It is a stem that has two different coloured flowers growing from one stem, albeit on two branches. How does this happen???? :??:

    Yesterday & today.

The poor "White Fantasy" zygo plants, that were found to be suffering from brown rot, have started flowering. The flowers are a really pretty shade of lilac/pink instead of the pink tinged white they should be. Am getting many anomalies with our zygoes this year. Am so relieved to see it flowering, though.

A close up of the third salmon pink "White Fantasy" zygo anomaly. This really puzzles me as to how this can happen.

This one is more of a puzzle. There is a salmon pink "White Fantasy" as well as a white one on the same stem. :??: :??: :huh2:

Our zygoes keep on producing more & more beautiful flowers. There are so many of them now, I cannot keep up with them. :lol2: It has become difficult to picture one of them in isolation from the others. Fancy "complaining" about TOO many flowers!!!!
