Here are some images of the flowers we have had blooming through May which is our late autumn. They are all grown in containers on our back patio.

    Fiesta miniature rose.

This is the aechmea fasciata "Primera" taken in early May. It has had this beautifully coloured bract since last December (2009) & is still going strong. It is one of the babies I grew from the original parent plant we bought three years ago.

Our beautiful adenium obesum seems to be recovering well. Its story is in the Flowering Plants In Pots forum. This image was taken in early May.

Chameleon miniature roses which aren't flowering as prolifically as the Fiesta. Think they may take it in turns to show us their lovely blooms. :lol!: They, also, flower all year round. These, usually, are more of an apricot shade but, after all, they are Chameleons so different shades of colour are to be expected.

More of our "Vegas Lights" phlox flowers. These also appear in the phlox topic but they deserve to be here too.

Our dracaena surculosa punctulata "Sierra Leone" has decided to have a mass flowering during autumn. This has never happened before & the plant has only flowered, with usually only one or two flowers, about four times in the twenty years we have had it.

    This is the first flower.
