We have had two days of non-stop heavy rain with 287mms (11.5 ins) over Sat & Sun. On the following Monday  it was non-stop rain again but the rain gauge at the local weather station at the RAAF bombing range seems to be broken as they have given no figures for the amount that has fallen for several days this week so the overall rain total will be inaccurate, but we had plenty!!. No end in sight with rain forecast though to next week. The birds are very stoic & Bruce threw out some seed for them as the seed trays are full of water & it's too wet for him to go out & empty them waste of time really.

Thanks BigBilly. Yes it was a big downpour of rain especially as it came so soon after several weeks of heavy flooding rains. Our yard which is basically sand with some dirt was already fully saturated so the water just sat there & we almost needed the boat which is parked in our front yard. It has been mostly dry since then but everywhere is lovely & green. Most unusual for Australia as you would know.
