    This is one of the many parrot species found in Australia. It is one of the cockatoo family although a much smaller species. These are seed eaters & can be a pest for farmers growing cereal crops. Have seen them happily feeding on part of a poor farmer's sorgham crop. At least it wasn't the whole paddock. These birds are just visitors to our area as they seem spend most of their time further inland. We are happy to see them in our front yard. They have the most amazing blue ring around their eyes.

    A pair of corellas dropped by to visit Bruce's feeding station. In this pic his video set up for the live stream can be seen. The camera is weather-proofed by being inside a milk container with the bottom cut off to allow filming & the cables are fed in through the top.
