Spring has arrived. The Australian bottlebrush in our front yard suddenly was covered in a mass of flowers. The rainbow lorikeets & other honeyeaters love it. The other unkown tree also explodes into flower every spring.

Spring flowers an Australian bottlebrush & an unknown yard tree its flowers come out every spring  & are strongly perfumed. Honey bees love it. Some of the honeyeater birds such as the Blue-faced honeyeater are also taking an interest in it now.

Thanks Big Billy, yes the bottlebrushes were everywhere & made the whole area very colourful. The birds love them & even now that they have faded we are still getting much bird activity in the one in our front yard. The bottlebrushes will reflower when the weather really warms up.. Oh dear a frost.  :cold: do hope it doesn't become too cold too soon.
