Wow!!  BigBilly, spring already!! Your winter doesn't seem to have lasted very long at all. Apologies for not seeing your beautiful spring flower images earlier. Must concentrate harder when scrolling through the index.

Many thanks for posting these lovely early spring displays They are wonderful, love seeing them especially as we don't get to see them here.

Been a strange year in the garden, took three goes at getting the carrots to grow then found out it was tiny keel slugs eating the little seedlings off before they had chance to grow.  Now growing them in tubs.

Oh dear that is a shame Big Billy. Had never heard of keel slugs so had to Google them.  :lol3: Boy they can grow quite big & would be an awful pest in the veggie garden, Do hope you have been able to control them BB.  :whack!: They could cause major damage to your potatoes too,

What a great idea Big Billy. Your cage is a work of art & will most certainly halt the predations of the  white cabbage butterfly's voracious caterpillars as well as the pesky pigeons.  :bravo:

Top crop of cherry tomatoes & beetroot too. They look beautiful.  :D

    Thanks Joy,

I take it you put the text of mine in the right place.

I don't seem to have sorted that part of it out yet but will keep on trying.

Hope you don't mind me doing that, Big Billy. If you use the Quick Reply at the bottom of the page you might find it easier. Type in your caption at the top of  the message window,  before you insert the image making sure your cursor is flashing below the caption before you paste in  the servmg URL into the Insert Image box & click insert. Do hope that's not too confusing. It's much easier than it seems when trying to explain such things :lol3:.

    Winter  is getting nearer.

Started getting the tender plants i want to keep ,under cover as harder frost is forecast.

Autumn leaves have have been colourful this year, hope to post pics soon.

First frost killed all the runner beans, but still have leeks, beetroot, carrots, lettuce, salad onions, cabbage, kale and peppers ready now. With sprouts and broccoli for later.

So pleased to learn that some of your veggies have survived the frosts Big Billy. Plenty of healthy eating there. We are now into very warm summer weather already.
