Think these flowering shrubs in te road divider are a species of ti-tree. They were very pretty.

That possum crossing has me biting my nails , do they know they must not swing from there,  and just cross in the middle :) just joking !  if I was a possum I would be squashed by a car , no ways am I going to cross on that  :lol3:. Those trees *are* very pretty , Joy !

I hope one of those speed boats is on its way to my house ;)

Lovely pics once again Joy ! many thanks  x

    Thanks,  Dawn.

:lol2: Know what you mean about the possom crossing & that pic doesn't really give an indication of just how high up off the road these possom crossings actually are. They are slung from tall poles which have two or three access ropes secured to a tall tree on each side of the four lanes plus road divider of the highway. Possoms are very agile & I would think they would hang on to these crossings upside down with their strong claws. Some may scamper across as if on the ground. Have seen an occasional crossing that has spacers along it to open out the netting making it a flat "path".

Can see you & DH zooming over the water in the speedy looking boat at the rear.  :cool3: :sun:  The first boat is more of a "tinny" for tootling along flat water going for a fish.  :fish:

Well I will take either one Joy ! if it landed at my door tomorrow ! :)  sort of love the idea of of a tinny for the fishing ;) . although off a nice river bank would be good too.   It is kind of making me feel an urge to fish again, just realised we were supposed to pursue some fly fishing not far away  . Well,  we shall have to remember for the spring,  although, I do seem to remember they said they go through winter as well but....  it is sooo cold...brrr ! , so maybe we will wait :) Thanks for the great photos Joy !! love them   :photos: .

Thanks Dawn. Yes, either boat would be good for puttering about & throwing a line into the water. I know you love your fishing.  :D Although it wouldn't be as tempting to do it in the freezing cold.  :cold:

The escarpment on the southern bank of the Hawkesbury River at Brooklyn. Taken while using movie function when driving across Hawkesbury Bridge. My camera will take stills while it is taking movies.

Heading towards Sydney. The middle lane is popular with the drivers heading to work.

Sydney's famous sandstone. Much of which was blasted out to make this section of the Pacific Highway motorway.
