Thanks for the really really beautiful  photos Joy ! Lovely Jacs !!  another special tree I think. ! The photos of the ads for Aldi  and the Westpac were so clear,    love your camera, of course you have lots to do with it as well  :cool4: .  We get Aldi here too Joy !  they sell great wine from New Zealand at discount prices ;).
Isn't it great to get new roads in some places  :good:

I never realised at just how hilly and diverse the scenery is around Coffs , I have friends living there and they have never really put up pics of the place on FB. Mind you I am off FB again,  thank goodness :) . Thanks Joy , for the great photos.  :apgch: :photos:

Thank you Dawn, glad you have enjoyed the beginning of our trip south.  :D Yes, the lovely jacaranda has behaved itself since it was introduced & naturalised, unlike the noxious camphor laurels.  :mad2: :whack!:

The whole east coast of Australia is very hilly. At Coffs Harbour the hills almost reach the sea & the city is squished between its beaches & the high mountains as its backdrop. The Clarence & Richmond Valleys would be the flattest areas from here to Sydney but aren't that large in area when crossing them. The flatter part of the Richmond Valley is north of us.

Here is a link to a video of mine showing a small bit of the hilliness of the east coast. This was taken in the Central Coast region.
    Mooney Mooney & Hawkesbury Bridges

There is an Aldi store at Ballina but we don't shop there. Tend to stick with Woolies & Big W as well as our local IGA supermarket.

I don't visit FB much at all. In fact hardly ever. Bruce has a wide range of things he looks at in FB plus keeping up with family & friends.

Now I had better get stuck into posting more of these pics. :lol2:

There is a banana plantation growing up that hill. Hard to see in the smoke.

A pink campervan. That would stand out in a camping ground.

These yellow plastic shapes of workers are safety warning signs for trucks & equipment operators that there are workers about. Have seen some elsewhere that are named. :lol3: .
