The tide is well & truly out in the Evans River early this morning. We have come down to the Riverfront Kiosk for breakfast at 7am before we set off on our journeys south.. We are their first customers today as it has just opened for the day. The sun is still low in the east.

After breakfast we are driving to Taree where we will spend the night before driving to Queanbeyan tomorrow morning.

These strange sandballs are made by tiny crabs, when the tide drops, as they clean out their hidey-holes of sand. They busily roll the sand into balls & carry them away from their holes or burrows.

Still plenty of holidaymakers in the so-called off season. Leet's face it, there is no longer an off-season here. The tourists come all year round now.

  Fantastic pictures!! Loved the pictures of the seagulls. The reflections in the water was great.  I don't get to see them except on vacation.
          Fig trees were amazing!
Loved the river pictures.  What a beautiful place to live.
Thanks so much Joy!!  You have such a great talent with a camera!!!!
