Our miniature Chameleon rose is roaring back into life after a slow winter, with heaps of new leaf & bud growth. Whoopeedoo!!  :apgw: :excited:

This image was taken during a foggy morning.

Thank you Granny.    The water droplets were from the fog & I thought how cool so took the pic. Very serendipitous.  :lol2:  Have some more pics of these lovely little roses which I shall post soon.  :cool4:

  Great!!  Looking forward to more pictures.  That was really heavy fog.  About what size are the roses when in full bloom?

The fog wasn't super thick just very moist, Granny.  :lol3: We normally have high humidity.

The roses are only about 1 & 1/2ins - 2ins across when fully opened. They are a small rose as are its leaves. Tiny but perfect.

Some opening different coloured buds of the miniature Chameleon rose. This is a gorgeous but fragrance-free rose. Excellent for those of us who can't handle perfume.

The miniature Fiesta rose is also bursting out with new growth. There are also new flower buds appearing. Problem is the graptoveria have taken a liking to this rose's pot. Hasn't totally smothered it but have to make sure the fiesta rose remains dominant.  :cool4:

It is now autumn & here is a pic of a Fiesta miniature rose flower. The spots on the leaves seem to be splashes from something unknown as the undersides of the leaves are unmarked so the discoloration doesn't go all the way through the leaf.

Wow!  The perfect little rose!!  You are so lucky to have such a great climate.  (Not sure it is your climate,  has a lot to do with your green thumb.  )  Love roses!

Thanks, Granny, but it is definitely the climate as I have been neglecting my plants lately.   :blush2: :sorry: Our miniature roses often do better in the cooler months though.

They survived the east coast low quite well, Granny, despite the strong wind we had. :cool4:   Only a small yucca plant was blown over. It survived that okay.

Here is a pic of the Fiesta miniature rose flower I have just taken. It is still shiny from the rain we had overnight.

Found another open flower, this afternoon, on this small Fiesta miniature rose cluster. It was hiding behind leaves.
