We have been eating from the garden with lettuce, radishes, peppers, potatoes, onions, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, squash, cucumbers, green beans  and kale.

I canned green beans today and made a gallon jar of frig dill pickles.

    Tomatoes will be soon.

I am tired but I love this time of the year!

My word what a wonderful variety of veggies you have been harvesting & enjoying, Glad. No wonder you are both tired & happy. Things are going well for your garden this year.  :bravo:

Digging potatoes today.  Not happy with them this year and I think I can blame too much rain.  The potatoes are average size to smaller which are not too bad but they have knobs on them as they would be trying to make potatoes on each potato.  And some of sprouting.  It looks like we will have potatoes to eat for awhile.  Thinking of planting more for fall in a few days.

That is a shame, Glad. Don't know much about growing potatoes but something does sound amiss. At least you are getting a feed which is something. Good idea to try planting them for a later harvest.  :D

Just finished digging the row and ended up with a bushel basket full.  It was not a total loss for the seed potatoes were potatoes from the kitchen that had begun to sprout.  I will put out a few potatoes back in the spot for fall, more okra, and more beans.  Everything should be planted soon so time to grow before frost.

You did well then Glad, especially as the potatoes were basically freebies & would have been thrown out normally. Excellent.  :D
