St Margarets Bay is just beyond Dover to the north I think ? A lovely little beach and the village is really cute, with a winding road if I remember correctly going down to the beach /bay.

The one day we took a drive and parked at the lighthouse, which is no longer a working lighthouse but under renovation as an historical building. We went there to look for Peregrine Falcons and other raptors which nest on the Dover cliffs. I have seen so many pics so thought I may try and "have a go at finding and photographing them", thing is no one seems eager to reveal the exact spot, well not  yet ! . So we still need to find them !. It was quite an experience walking along the cliffs, there is no fence along there at all it is sheer drop down to the little beaches under the cliff. I am so afraid of heights, so was proud of myself when I lay down on my tummy and crawled to nearly the edge and managed to get at shot over the cliff. I did note there were the odd people taking a stroll but no dogs and no children. There is no warning that we saw that it is not fenced, so people obliviously just know it is like that. Anyhow here are some of those photos

    The lighthouse

Yesterday,(we both have colds mine went to Bronchitis and Johns was creeping there), we are both on A/biotics. But we were so fed up with feeling ill, we decided to go out anyway, we walked to the top of Folkestone on the North Downs to watch the Folkestone Airshow, the Red Arrows did a few acrobatics. Just made it too we were late, we walked up the highest hill and got an Eagle view of some of it. Our chest did not like it much but we had a good cobweb clean out getting out the house.

This is what I managed to get. I was happy with the result.

Bearing in mind they were doing the fly overs for the official venue which was on the leas the cliffs on Flokestone's beachfront side. So they looked a bit funny sometimes from our angle.
