This is an outstanding cactus. Apparently its flowers are pink & it would look stunning when in flower. Love this tree.

A beautiful pink bottlebrush at the top of the  front garden. Still flowering too.

I do like this tree. Apparently, it was growing on the inside of the fence, originally & when the fence needed replacing the owners decided to place the fence on the other side of this wonderful tree to give it more room to grow.  :bravo:

Driving away from our friends home. The whole area is leafy. This is late autumn, too.

A wooden house is not a very common sight. This one is poking up from the slope.

a most beautiful garden space Joy , and those stunning vistas .

It was most interesting to hear about   "a blue haze when viewed from a distance due to the release of terpenoids from their foliage. This is where the famous Blue Mountains gets their name."

Thanks Dawn.  :D  They have near neighbours but cannot be seen from their garden such is the screening offered by their their trees. It's very private.

Yes, the blue haze is very Australian & is also why the Aussie bush is so combustible. Fortunately, the trees generally recover quickly from bushfires.
