    A very juvenile stick insect. It must have been born nearby as they cannot fly. This one was helping our plant by searching for small bugs to eat.

    The young stick insect creeping through the grenery looking for prey. It has a great deal of growing to do unless it gets spotted by some hungry critter beforehand. :omg:  :aargh:

    Yes, they are wonderful garden creatures, Glad. Apparently, there 150 different species of them in Australia from the 3000 species world-wide  Never knew there were so many. The Australian ones range from about 2ins long to 10ins in length. Needless to say, that one is called the Titan Stick Insect.  :lol3:

    No, never, not unless you are a leaf, Glad.  :lol3: They would be more afraid of us than we should be of them & are beautiful creatures.  :love:

    They do, Granny. I was lucky I saw it as their camouflage is so good.  :good:
