all of the 2013 yard and garden pictures have been transferred now to the other photobucket account. Still have some 2012 to transfer yet. I will try to repost some of the pictures soon but I may not have them all straight along with the posts.

I took a few pictures today also.

Yes it has been but a lesson I will never forget and hope others have been warned by my error.

BigBilly & I both thank you for the warning Glad. Haven't seen the dreaded "Scramble" option at my very occasional visits to Photobucket but if I do, thanks to you warning, I shall avoid it like the plague. :lol3:

Just finished transferring pictures.....but I am missing the 2010 pictures for some reason. I may have to just forget about them for I cannot remember where they are on my computer.

How would you all like to see the pictures again? At random or in a group of pictures. It will be time consuming trying to get them back to their original threads.

Our growing season has just ended in America.  Currently we have not had frost yet in my area but it won't be long.  My garden is in clean up right now....waiting for the frost then my pepper plants will be removed.  I will be able to spread mulch throughout the garden to prepare for next March and the beginning of the 2014 growing season.

I will post a few of the 2013 garden so you can get a general idea of what I had.

The mulch that will be spread soon

    spaghetti squash

    another view of spaghetti squash

    Kiwi and cucumbers

    Lemon cucumbers

    Peppers

    Okra

    German tomatoes and cucumbers

    yellow tomatoes

    Black berries (they are thornless)

    Tomatoes are hidden

Beets and onions and a bit of lettuce

    I miss the garden already!

I took a few pictures today when I took the carport pictures. As soon as I can will post those that show the mulch spread in some of the areas. I did 10 wheelbarrow loads and transplanted hens of chickens so I am tired this night.

What a fantastic job you have done, Glad. Everything looks great & that fall lettuce looks terrific. You certainly have a fabulous garden & the mulch will keep it really healthy over winter ready for spring (just around the corner at the rate the year is galloping along).

Thank you for posting these images. They are wonderful. :D

After all these years the garden is finally just about the way we want it. Still a few areas need to be worked on but all in all a really good garden plot.

Mulching is 90% complete now. I did a lot today.

I will finish on Saturday if it is not raining.

Also will get pictures of the completed mulch project.

That has been a huge task, Glad but at least it is one with great benefits for the garden & your produce of the future. :bravo:

Just wish I had a 1/4 of your energy to get to watering my patio potted plants. :lol3:

    Hello everyone.

We may get sleet or snow later tonight. Due to my eye problem last week I did not get new pictures of the garden site. I want to do that and show everyone what it looks like with mulch. The next sunny day I will take them.

Oh dear, sleet or snow, Glad. Can't wrap my head around that. Here we have pay a motza to travel to the snowfields, to "enjoy" such weather.  :lol3:

Do hope it doesn't do too much damage to your garden.  :O

Nothing growing in the garden right now.  A major ice storm could send the neighbor's tree limbs to the garden though but hopefully we won't have that for a long time.  Those ice storms only come every so many years and we had one in the 9 years since hubby died and another years earlier.  Only two in the 45 years I lived here so maybe that is enough.  Had some hail storms too.

Ice storms would be really nasty, Glad. We do remember the big one that happened in Canada & NE America a while ago. Think it was the twisted & buckled high tension power pylons that stuck in our minds.

We don't have these here but do have thunderstorms bringing hail storms, of course. Had one a few weeks ago with large hailstones. Didn't last long.

Your garden is looking good Glad.  Sorry to hear about your eye.
First sub zero frost here last night. Managed to get some of the fuchsias inside just in time.

    Thanks BBilly NS Joy.

The eye has completely healed and I am happy about that.

We are getting lots of rain now and most of the leaves are off of the trees now. I think about 2 more times of mowing and it will be done. Son has mulched the leaves for the compost been and some are piled in an area to winter. I am looking forward to the mulched leaves at planting time.

    Do you save leaves BBilly?
