A very wild & woolly day today. The dreaded east coast is parked just offshore from us. It is behaving like a cyclone with very strong winds & pouring rain. There have been some thunderstorms as well. These images were taken from inside looking towards the SSW. The wind is coming from due south.

The east coast lows continue almost, seemingly, non-stop. This is really crummy weatner.

that looks like a storm... I love rainy season because of not so cold weather compare to snow.
How's your weather today? Here it's sunny.

It's the first day of winter here Krocker so it is getting cooler. It was a dull day as can be seen in my Daily Weather Shots. :D

Luckily for us we don't have frosts, or snow, & it doesn't get too cold. Our lowest temps would be in the high 50s/low 60sF with it dropping to about mid 40sF at night at its coldest.

An east coast low is nasty storm-like weather which is not quite a cyclone. A cyclone is the Southern Hemisphere equivalent of a hurricane.

Summer here and going to get down in the 50's tonight? Weird weather!

Stay safe Joy in your area.

We just had tornado like weather around the midwest again.

That is a bit cool for summer, Glad. No doubt it will be back to normal soon. We have seen on TV news about all those nasty tornadoes that have been occurring in parts of the US. Not very pleasant indeed. Do hope you & Krocker aren't in areas getting the worst of them.

We are ok here. The latest east coast low didn't cause us any problems as it went out to sea before the worst of it arrived at our part of the coast.
