What a fantastic shot, BigBilly. He is a beautiful looking frog & posing for the camera so nicely, too. Great pond you have. Many thanks for posting this pic. It is great. :D

It appears as though your spring has sprung, BigBilly. :goodone: Skunk cabbage certainly has a striking coloured flower. Love the colour. It is a very interesting plant as well.

Googled it to find out why it has that name & as I suspected it does have a skunk-like aroma to attract pollinators such as flies, rather like our stapelias. It also is utilised by bears & the Native Americans for certain purposes in its native America.

Thanks for posting the pic, BB.

Spring most certainly has arrived in your beautiful garden, BigBilly. The flowers are gorgeous & the sycamore tree will look fantastic when all the buds burst.

Many thanks for posting these lovely images, BB. It is great to see spring has sprung in your garden. :D

so nice to see all the colour in your garden. I now know what that tree is called too. I took so many pics of them, and asked around for ages for the name of it and no one could tell me :) I thought they were some sort of Magnolia tree. thks Billy :photos:

Your flower garden has really come alive, BigBilly. The flowers are looking marvellous despite the hard winter. The flowers named spring snowflakes are the exact ones we used to call snowdrops in New Zealand. They seemed to be the only type grown there. Don't see them at all where we live now which is a shame.

Thank you, BB, for posting these wonderful pictures. :D

All looks good in your garden, BigBilly. The hedge is leafing up nicely & your flower garden Is starting to really come alive. The shower tray rockery is filling out nicely. It does look wonderful. Love it.

Great pics, BB. It all looks fantastic despite its later start to spring weather.

Some bits of Roman pottery picked up off the farm field where there used to be a villa.
